Hey Team New Zealand!  So its seems we've gotten it down to the final 10.  And what a great looking bunch it is!  ... just kidding, I don't think I've actually FB stalked everyone yet.  Find me if you haven't already!  Or we'll just become real friends at training camp which is always better.

So for reals, I couldn't be more excited about the group of individuals we have on this team and how we will turn from a bunch of individuals into a family over the next couple months.  I already see such great camaraderie... I cantruly  feel the love on this team!

Ok, so I am officially the last one to post a bio here... but unlike the first time I had to do this for my own squad last year when couldn't figure it out, I have a better and different excuse.    Most of you have probably already figured out I am fresh off the field of my own World Race trip.  In fact, this is pretty much my 3rd day back  in America after being gone for 11 months, so its been a little crazy as I have 2 weeks to regather myself and get stuff done before heading back out with all you wonderful people!  Though I could not be more stoked about it!

One of the biggest lessons God has taught me this year and continues to teach me is about my Faith Walk.  I used to just toss that phrase around like every good Christian and really just thought of it as my belief in God.  But I've come to know it as something much more real, more tangible, more exciting, but also at times daunting.   With about 5 months left on my World Race adventure, I began serious thinking about what I was going to do once I got back.  God had yet to reveal his next plans for my life.  I am certainly one who likes to know what is around the corner, so the Lord has really had to work in that area in my life.  He kept saying to me, "don't worry, I got it covered."  Yet there were still many of nights that I went to sleep uneasy not know what I was going to do when I got home.   But alas, he opened the door and confirmed that leading a RL trip would be my next adventure.  And like the World Race was an unexpected surprise that He put in my path, so is the RL trip.  I certainly had no plans to continue traveling or doing missions work, but like it says, (and I paraphrase) "His ways are higher than our ways and his thoughts are greater than ours... just as the heavens are higher than the earth."

So once again, the big guys upstairs threw me a curve ball and simply asked me to respond in obedience which it sounds like what most of you went through to end up on this amazing trip!

I'm looking forwad to see what other tricks God has up his sleeve for all of us this summer and how each of you will experience God in new ways and grow in ways you never thought possible!

Along with Tana, if you have any questions, concerns, whatever... please feel free to call or email me.

Can't wait to meet you all face to face!  Be well....
