Hi!

My name is Cassie Day and I'm from Jamestown, North Dakota. I'm 18 and I've been homeschooled my entire schooling years.

My plan after highschool was to go to college and major in Intercultural Studies. But God completely changed my plans and told me that I just needed to trust Him with my future. That was really hard for me because I'm the type of person who likes to have a plan, and not knowing what I was going to do scared me.

But God really worked on my heart and I am more content with my future than I've ever been.

Then a few months ago my missionary friend told me about AIM. I checked it out and I was torn between Kenya and New Zealand. After praying and talking it over with my mom, God led me to New Zealand!

I have always had a heart for missions and I was waiting on God for years to tell me when I could go.

Then I found this trip and I just knew that God was saving up all my passion and energy for this particular time. This is my first missions trip, so I'm really, really excited! My first missions trip is going to be at a country where I've always wanted to go! How awesome is God?!

One of my all-time favorite movies is Lord of the Rings, so being in the country where it was filmed is going to be amazing for me!

I love reading, walking, exercising, and spending time with my family and friends. I also love to babysit because I LOVE kids.

I'm not a picky eater and I'll try anything. Unless it's cat or some other ethnic delicacy.

I'm a very technically challenged person and just putting up this blog was a big step for me! :)

I cannot wait to meet you all and get to know you. This is going to be an amazing two months.
