Hey! My name is Jeffrey Corley. I am 20 years old and I'm from Statesboro, GA. I attend Georgia Southern University, which is actually located in Statesboro. So if you're wondering...yes, I still live at home. It's cool though cause I get to see my parents everyday and it's a lot cheaper. Anyways, my major is Communication Studies and I have no idea what I'm going to do with it haha. I just know that God wants me to major in it so I'm trusting him.

Random facts about myself: I play tennis, I'm an only child, I have webbed toes, I have a reversed widows peak, my favorite food is chicken, I really like to sleep, my favorite color is orange, I'm a big people watcher, I currently work in an afterschool program which is awesome cause I love kids. These are just little tid-bits of information about myself, but I think we should get to the more important question...Why New Zealand?

Well it all started in August. I'm on the leadership team for the Wesley Foundation for my school and we had our leadership retreat at AIM over the summer. This is where i first heard about Real Life. In that moment I knew God wanted me to go somewhere this Summer. I wasn't exactly sure where though. So last semester I began looking at the trips AIM was offering for this Summer and i was torn between Hong Kong and New Zealand. After praying about it, God said to go to New Zealand! It's really cool because when i read the bio of each trip New Zealand seemed to be the one that I felt was going to stretch me the most. I know...how can New Zealand be stretching? After all it's just real beautiful and laid back. Well the answer is simple...when i saw how the natives are just real friendly and love to talk to people about anything I knew I had to go. See I love talking to people, but I'm usually pretty bad at initiating conversations with people I don't really know. Especially when the topic of conversation is Jesus. It's cool though because I feel like the Lord is really going to teach me how to be confident with sharing Jesus to total strangers during this trip. I'm really excited about!

So yeah...that's basically me. I'm really excited to meet all of you and I know the Lord is going to do great things in us this Summer!
