HEY ALL!

ok so I'll be honest I feel a little technologically challenged because, FOR THE LIFE OF ME, I could not figure out how to add a blog! Even after multiple calls to Katie Swan and an email to Nick. haha. Blame it on the Blonde I guess!

Aaanyway, I'm Hannah and I'm 20 years old. I live in a small town in Southern California called Yucaipa (you-ky-puh ..lol) I grew up here and I love cali. I played sports all my life (softball & volleyball) and I played a little volleyball in college. I also love pro sports. not a huge basketball fan but I love football and baseball. My team won the superbowl this year, woot woot, and My baseball team is the Angels! Go Halos :) I go to the local college and am majoring in communications. I'm not sure what God wants me to do but I think I would like to be a wedding planner. I'm also taking sign language classes and considering being certified with that because I really like it. So we'll see. Maybe I could do deaf weddings! hahaha ..or not. (< I ususally think I'm funnier than I am.. you'll all learn this) I have 2 sisters and a brother and I'm the 2nd born. Ok now... Why New Zealand?

Truth is, I don't know.. but God does. You see, I felt called to go on a mission trip this summer but I didnt know where God was sending me. A friend who went to the Dominican through AIM suggested them to me and I looked through the RL trips. The 2 that stuck out to me were NZ and Thailand for some reason. Then the Thailand description said you needed to be super emotionally stable becasue they would be working with women who were victims of human trafficking and prostitution. ummm not me. WHY?? because I would be crying the whole time (which may still happen in NZ... fair warning) and eanting to take them all home with me! My prayer is that the Lord will break my heart for the things that break the heart of God. He does. So NZ it is and I will find my purpose while I'm there I guess.

I think thats enough for now. I was so encouraged when I read some of your blogs and you said how you were praying for us as a team! I'm praying for you guys too and I cant wait to meet all of you!
